Water is essential for maintain a healthy body, a clear mind, and a good balance within your tissues.
Most of us are drinking water when they are thirsty. But, sometimes it’s not recommended to drink water, such as before, during, and after the meal. Water will weaken your digestive system through diluting the gastric juice.
Sometimes we need to drink medicine which should be taken before the meal. In such a case we should drink it at least one hour before the meal, with a small amount of water.
If you drink water right after you finished the meal, it will have negative impact on the food quality and the strength of your digestive system. Regularly drinking water after the meal will give you extra pounds.
Drink water properly
It is recommended to drink water 30 minutes after you finished the meal. This practice will give you the feeling of satiety and quench your thirst. After one or two hours of the meal you can drink as much water as you want.
If you are very thirst and you can’t wait, you can try to drink it in minimal amounts.
We suggest you the water to be on a room temperature, because if it’s cold will make digestive enzymes inactive. Later it can cause build-up of toxins in your body.
You should avoid drinking water, aerated and caffeinated beverages during the meal. It can cause acid reflux or a hiatus hernia.
