Banana Tea

This is a simple recipe which is rich in magnesium and potassium. Magnesium is excellent for preventing sleep disturbances, but when combined with potassium they relax the muscles. You need just 10 minutes to prepare this tea.


  • 1 organic banana
  • 1 small pot of water
  • a dash of cinnamon (optional)


You need to cut off both ends of the banana. Place it, peel and all, into boiling water for around 10 minutes. Using a colander, pour the water into a mug. If you like, you can add cinnamon into the tea. Drink it one hour before bed time.
