We all know that many people are sitting on the chair with their legs crossed. It is a common habit that gives much comfortable sitting position.
According to a recent study, you should avoid this practice, because it have some negative health effects. Spending too much time with one knee crossed over the other includes pressure on the bone nerve at the rear of the knee, raised blood pressure, varicose veins and nerve damage.
Sitting with your legs crossed on the ground, which is known as Indian sitting, is also not recommended. It can cause the leg bone nerve palsy that may result to a “Foot drop”. In such a case, the front part of the foot and the toes can’t be emotional. It can also cause back and neck pain.
